In the neighbourhood of Entrevías, war veteran Tirso Abantos (José Coronado) is not happy with the worsening quality of the neighbourhood and attempts to broker peace. But, things get tricky when his granddaughter Irene (Nona Sobo) gets involved with the local drug network. Tirso is a battle-hardened war veteran who knows the tricks of the trade and fears nobody, and is able to maintain peace with all the factions involved. José Coronado, Nona Sobo, Luis Zahera, and Laura Ramos create a set of character-driven performances that dominate the screen. The series is layered with many arcs and conflicts, and the nuanced storytelling is a definite strength backed by the brilliant, intelligent and remarkably witty dialogues.
